My approach to tutoring is: The tutee and I will discuss what goals the tutee wishes to achieve and together we will work to achieve those goals (e.g. coursework, poetry). The tutee may bring before me any aspect of English literature or language that he/she wants to improve and we will work on it. For example, the tutee could show me some coursework he/she is doing and we could go through it and see where there could be improvement. One useful strategy is to look at texts and practise analysing them. The lessons are very flexible and I will work around the tutee's needs.

I graduated from The University of Leicester in Medical Biochemistry in 2008 and am entering the University of Warwick postgraduate medical school programme. I have taught biology in the independent sector to A level and university entrance since leaving Leicester and have also taught GCSE chemistry for the past two years. We are a teachers co-operative that was formed in 1984 for the "hard to reach" and the street kids who otherwise would have ended up facing the law at young age.
