Originally from Toulouse, south-west France, I've been living in Dublin for 5 years. I love Linguistics and languages, and am currently learning Mongolian and Nepali.
Although I've mainly taught English, I can also teach French and help you with your homework in beginner Italian, Chinese, German...feel free to ask!
When working with a student, my aims are:
provide him/her with a work & study
methodology that will work for him/her
make it as painless/enjoyable as efficiency
permits
* reach the goals that we've set together in any
needed areas (hey, I'm the teacher, but this is
still team work).
I also like working with various tools: the Internet, pictures, films, musics & songs, magazines & papers ...you name it.
The pupils I have worked with ranged from 5 to 60 years old, were from very different backgrounds and levels. And it's always been great craic.
I'm flexible, committed and I don't mind explaining something several hundred times if that's what it takes.
Follow-up help in between classes via email is possible too.
There you go! :-)

Ich komme aus Irland, und bin eine qualifizierte Erzieherin. Ich habe für sechs Jahren in Irland unterrichtet. Ich habe auch ein "Masters of Applied Linguistics",also bin hochqualifiziert,um Sprachen zu unterrichten.

I would be delighted to give lessons to determined learners, who are eager to build up their current knowledge or to start from scratch, and who are committed to achieving a certain level in a very short time, from elementary to higher advanced level. I believe that not every native speaker of a language can work as a tutor/teacher. Like any profession, it requires relevant qualifications, experience and dedication. I have had more than 10 years Russian language teaching in total. I have a profound understanding of grammar, both English and Russian, and I posses a so called %u2018sense of language%u2019, or high literacy. My husband is English and it%u2019s the language spoken in my home. It means I wouldn%u2019t have any difficulty to explain you complicated issues of Russian grammar in English, which is especially important for beginners. My professional focus is on improving conversational skills, using intensive speaking activities, discussions, developing grammar and vocabulary, the key phrases and expressions that can be used in real life situations. I believe I am a happy, well educated person with a rounded and relaxed approach to life, ready to take on any challenge. Over these years I was able to acquire knowledge and skills and to convey them successfully to other people.

Experienced curriculum writer and professional educator of 10 years, with 6 years in ESL and 3 years tutoring adults and children.

I am an experienced tutor, really self-motivated and highly qualified. I have been and I am working as a language teacher and pedagogic coordinator here in London with bilingual students (Anglo-italian, from 5 to 14 years old) and it is a great experience. I really enjoy preparing lessons aimed at young people, and I can be very imaginative with them. Nevertheless, I rather find more challenging teaching to adults, because they need a completely tailor-made approach and a strong grammar reinforcement. As a language expert I also supported adults in learning English language when I was in Italy. As foreign adults learning Italian, Italians also needed support and a lot of communicative effort from the teacher, but I managed to get them very satisfied about their knowledge and competence at the end of the courses. I own excellent communicative manners, and I usually tend to give great attention to spoken and written skills. I have a solid background of Linguistics and glottodidactics. I am well aware of the Eu framework of languages and I tailor language teaching methods to different needs and levels. I am also able to use my own initiative and create my own teaching material. And I am a very patient tutor indeed!

Very experienced Russian tutor offers private lessons. I have worked as a teacher of russian as foreign language for 23 years. As Russian teacher I worked at variety of foreign institutions including American Embassy in Kyrgyzstan (ex soviet republic ,where I'm originnally from) for last 6 years. Refference letters are provided on request.

Studying Linguistics has given me a very good understanding of English grammar, so I can explain things clearly and accurately. I started learning German just two years ago, so I know the kinds of problems learners face. I also know how much easier learning is if the lessons are enjoyable!

I am a very devoted teacher.

I am a patient tutor and i consider the feelings and the idea of once person. Regarding for payments it affordable, you can negotiate.

My experience in teaching English for students of different ages, social and professional backgrounds exceeds ten years. Part of this experience was gained at primary Catholic schools, and in my volunteer service within St George Community Centre in Cairo where I assisted and managed classes for pre-school children. I also did some part time courses in several centres in Cairo, Egypt %u2013 part of which was voluntary work to help and support young people in learning English as a second language to find better opportunities of work. I believe my experience in this field as well as my studies in pedagogical & psychological teaching methodologies have intensified my teaching skills and enriched my performance to ensure a spontaneous technique in teaching and managing classes.

Besides teaching I used to publish some articles in Arabic and in English for Watani Newspaper and after some time I worked as a casual Arabic editor. Mastering both Arabic and English is an asset in dealing with new immigrant children with Arabic background

For me it has never been a one-way process of teaching students how to improve and excel in communicating English. It was rather a sort of mutual benefit. I always learnt from my students, how to upgrade my knowledge by searching for extra material to hand them during my teaching sessions to encourage them to talk and express themselves to help them widen their scope of thinking. I love this career and I hope to be a member in your teaching staff
